Member Specialist

Position Summary

Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam’s Club products and services, offers guidance on self‑service technology, processes purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in line with company policies, follows safety standards and conducts safety sweeps, handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, organizes merchandise, assists with item transport, safeguards assets, maintains documentation, executes emergency procedures, ensures security compliance, trains associates on processes, teaches technology and tool use, rolls out new programs, provides continuous learning and improvement opportunities, ensures return handling aligns with policies, identifies shrink and damages, adheres to ethics standards, completes assignments using data and resources, collaborates with managers and coworkers, and adapts to change and feedback.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as cash registers.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00; actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility and specific work performed.
