Job Summary
The Vacation Sales Agent works with popular local ports and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure. In this sales-based role, the agent engages in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers and shares information about the vacation club experience, inviting and incentivizing guests to attend vacation ownership presentations.
Responsibilities- Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure.
- Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales‑preview tour.
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
- Make vacation package sales and collect payment on site in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Sales‑mindful professionalism.
- Hospitality, sales, or marketing experience.
- Ability to overcome challenges and objections.
- Ability to work in a goal‑ and performance‑based environment.
