Position: Direct Sales Agent Specialist (1615)

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth by generating new business sales and building rapport and trust with customers.
  • Attract and generate new customers while cross‑selling existing customers across Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance products.
  • Sell products to walk‑in customers and market products through calls, in‑person visits, and community relationships.
  • Build and retain a book of business within the assigned market/retail location.
  • Leverage community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community.
  • Initiate outbound calls to an established target customer base for product offerings.
  • Monitor key competitors in the local market and provide suggestions to improve market positioning.
  • Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
  • Deliver optimal results within metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with all procedures and standards.
  • Understand and remain current on company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
  • Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of experience in direct sales.
  • Preferred: P&C licensing, or ability to obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's own sales pipeline.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
  • Exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention of customers.
  • Builds community relationships through car dealership, local events, and community organizations.
  • Active learning, listening, adaptability, business integrity, communication, cooperation, customer service, high reliability, persuasion, professional integrity, sales, social orientation, and time management.
  • Leverages marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
  • Uncapped monthly incentive based on individual and team performance.
