District Sales Manager – In the field

Location:

Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, & Melbourne, Florida

• Achieve the annual operating plan by partnering with distributors to increase route averages and recruiting new distributors into the territory.
• Drive coaching sessions through 3–4 days of “truck ride‑along” visits each week, including 2 weeks of initial training and optional 2‑week refresher periods for new starts.
• Attract and retain distributors within the Mac Tools business.
• Conduct new franchisee training (2‑week ride‑along) and complete the field‑start process for all new distributors, revisiting as needed under direction from the Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst.
• Lead monthly Field Excellence Meetings with the entire district.
• Participate in Student Tech shows and other promotional events.
• Manage regional credits and adjustments.
• Perform route surveys for all new starts and as requested by the Regional Manager.

• Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent into an organization.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with solid business acumen.
• Relationship‑building skills and a deep knowledge of the local automotive repair market.
• Background as a small‑business owner or experience coaching and mentoring small‑business owners.
• Minimum 5 years of route/field sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the specified sales territory and possibly outside the territory, including periods of up to two weeks at a time.
• Physical ability to lift over 10 pounds, bend, twist, and push as required.
• Willingness to reside in the sales territory (South‑central Florida – near/in Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, or Melbourne).

The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 – $. This range includes base salary and variable cash compensation. The role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission and may receive annual merit increases.
