Job Summary
The Promoter Marketing Agent works inside the Outlets of Barceloneta in Puerto Rico, acting as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
- Margaritaville Resorts. In this sales‑based role, the agent engages in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers, shares information about the vacation club experience, and invites guests to attend award‑winning vacation ownership presentations.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
- Margaritaville Resorts. - Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales‑preview tour.
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
- Make sales‑tour reservations and collect required deposits.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, and keep current on marketing information, materials, industry trends, and performance goals (weekly, monthly, annually).
- Maintain minimum performance goals (80% time) and comply with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
No travel required outside of the home site’s area.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications- Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
- Must maintain production standards.
- Must have full availability to work weekends, holidays, daytime and nighttime.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
- 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required (education or experience may be accepted in lieu).
Paid training provided. Minimum production standards must be met.
