Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance – Allstate Business)
Mandated to drive profitable growth by acquiring new business and maintaining a robust book of business within the market/retail location. Responsible for sell‑in to walk‑in customers and community outreach, cross‑selling existing clients and promoting a range of products.
Responsibilities- Drive new business sales and build long‑term relationships with customers.
- Build and retain the book of business at the assigned market/retail location.
- Attract new customers and cross‑sell existing customers across Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance products.
- Sell to walk‑in customers and conduct marketing calls, in‑person visits, and community events to develop growth opportunities.
- Initiate outbound calls to established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitor key competitors in the local market and recommend initiatives to improve the company’s position.
- Partner with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes for production and growth goals.
- Deliver results in metrics such as quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with all rules, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
- Process customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.
- 0–2 years of experience in direct sales.
- P&C licensing (preferred) or attainment of required licensure within 90 days of joining.
- Proven success in closing insurance and ancillary product sales.
- Consistent achievement of sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell, and retention.
- Ability to leverage community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community.
- Strong active listening, adaptability, business integrity, communication, customer service, persuasion, and time‑management skills.
Base hourly rate of $20.00 per hour plus uncapped monthly incentive based on individual and team performance.
