Reconstruction Sales Representative (Melbourne, FL)

Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical consultant for the Orthopaedic Reconstruction portfolio, specialising in total joint reconstruction.
  • Convert new and existing accounts through effective sales calls, service support and operating room case coverage.
  • Train and educate surgeons and clinical teams on Smith+Neb products, technologies and programs.
  • Build strong partnerships with orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, SPD teams and administrators.
  • Drive adoption of innovative solutions including the CORI robotic surgical and navigation system.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate cross‑divisionally with Reconstruction and Sports Medicine partners to uncover growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years medical device sales experience, preferably within orthopaedics.
  • Demonstrated success selling and converting business at surgeon and hospital level.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with surgeons, KOLs and hospital stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory strategically and deliver results.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other sales professionals is preferred.
Travel Requirements

Within the designated sales territory with 2 to 4 overnight stays per month. Infrequent national travel for meetings, events and conferences.

All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities, which can include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.
