The Einfach Group (TEG) is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Vice President of Business Development – Mortgage Division to lead new business growth within the U.S. mortgage market.
This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with mortgage lenders, servicers, banks, credit unions, fintech organizations, and other participants within the mortgage ecosystem.
The ideal candidate brings an established network within the mortgage industry, a strong understanding of mortgage operations, and experience selling outsourced services, technology-enabled services, business process outsourcing (BPO), or other enterprise solutions to mortgage organizations.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development and Onshore Operations
, the Vice President will work closely with TEG's U.S. leadership and offshore operations teams to develop customized solutions that address client challenges related to capacity, cost, scalability, turnaround times, quality, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
This is a growth-focused position requiring someone who can do more than generate leads. The successful candidate will understand a prospect's operation, uncover where inefficiencies exist, and position TEG as a strategic extension of the client's team.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on expanding TEG's presence within the U.S. mortgage market.
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities with mortgage lenders, servicers, banks, credit unions, fintech companies, and other mortgage-related organizations.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial prospecting through contract execution and implementation.
- Leverage existing industry relationships while continuously developing new executive-level connections.
- Conduct strategic outbound prospecting through industry relationships, referrals, conferences, associations, Linked In, email, phone, and other appropriate channels.
- Own the complete sales lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposal preparation, pricing discussions, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- Consistently meet or exceed established revenue, pipeline, activity, and new-client acquisition goals.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, forecast, and activity information within the company's CRM.
- Develop a strong understanding of each prospect's current operating model, workflows, volumes, service levels, pain points, staffing challenges, technology environment, and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities where outsourcing or a blended onshore/offshore delivery model can improve efficiency, scalability, quality, turnaround times, or cost.
- Translate operational challenges into customized TEG solutions rather than relying on transactional or commodity-based selling.
- Articulate the business case and ROI associated with outsourcing mortgage-related processes.
- Work with prospects to evaluate opportunities ranging from individual processes and pilot programs to larger-scale operational partnerships.
- Position TEG as a strategic business partner and extension of the client's operation rather than simply an outsourced vendor.
Maintain current knowledge of mortgage industry trends, market conditions, regulatory developments, technology, operational challenges, and lender priorities.
The VP should be comfortable discussing workflows across the mortgage lifecycle and identifying potential outsourcing opportunities in areas such as:
- Loan origination support
- Loan processing and fulfillment
- Pre-underwriting and underwriting support
- Quality control and audit support
- Closing and post-closing
- Payoff processing
- Document and data management
- Default-related support
- Customer and borrower communication workflows
- Mailbox and queue management
- Back-office administrative processes
- Other repeatable, process-driven mortgage operations
The VP is not expected to personally perform these functions but must understand them sufficiently to conduct credible discovery conversations with mortgage executives and operations leaders.
Relationship Management & Industry Presence- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including executives in operations, fulfillment, servicing, vendor management, procurement, technology, and executive leadership.
- Represent TEG professionally at mortgage conferences, trade shows, networking events, association meetings, webinars, and other industry events.
- Develop referral and strategic partnership opportunities throughout the mortgage ecosystem.
- Maintain relationships with prospects throughout long and complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Stay engaged with newly acquired clients during transition and implementation to support a successful handoff from sales to operations.
