Position

Industrial Security Analyst / Principle Industrial Security Analyst based out of Melbourne, Florida.

This position will be filled as a level 2 or 3*.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Manages program security compliance and operations across multiple functions including PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations, and Document Control Management. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.

Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.
  • Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
  • Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s).
  • Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
  • Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
  • Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications
  • 2 years of security experience with a Bachelors degree, or 0 years with a Masters degree, or an additional four years of security experience may be considered lieu of a degree.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PR) completed within the last 5 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07.
Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications
  • 5 years of security experience with a Bachelors degree, or 3 years with a Masters degree, or an additional four years of security experience may be considered lieu of a degree.
