Location: Melbourne, FL
Join a well-established residential HVAC company based in Florida. This role focuses on system start-ups, diagnostics, and balancing across Central Florida. Paid travel time and company vehicle included.
What You'll Do
- Perform start-ups on residential HVAC systems
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues
- Balance systems for performance and comfort
- Braze and solder piping connections
- Install/modify ducts, indoor and outdoor units, drain lines
- Calibrate thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers
- Inspect and repair HVAC system components
- Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning drains, coils, motors)
- Use gauges, voltmeters, detectors, and airflow tools
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Assist other techs and support new trainees as needed
- 1+ year HVAC field experience (preferred)
- HVAC technical program graduate (preferred)
- EPA Type II certification (required);
Universal preferred - Experience with low and high voltage wiring
- Ability to work on-call rotations
- Valid driver's license held for at least 15 months
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong customer service skills
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

- Company vehicle provided and can be taken home
- Paid drive time for any commute over 45 minutes
- Must live within 45 minutes of the nearest office
- Travel throughout Central Florida required
- Technicians in Tampa may travel up to 1 hour south of Sarasota
- Office located in Lake Mary, Florida (visit 1-2 times per week)
- Expect significant windshield time
- Maintain truck stock and cleanliness
- Handle maintenance and warranty calls
- Avoid customer property damage
- Provide job site supervision when needed
- Support service techs with troubleshooting
