Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position
We are seeking an efficient and professional Electrician, preferrable with commercial and/or industrial experience who is willing to travel. Typical travel is within the state of Florida, working Monday‑Thursday, 10‑hour days with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Employees receive hotel, food and company van paid for by the company. We specialize in generator installations, UPS systems, and other specialty electrical installations.
Our electricians typically operate unsupervised in teams or two or three with an emphasis on high quality work and safety. We are not a large‑scale production contractor. - Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, panels, and components in commercial or industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and schematics to identify faults and restore operation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to complete work accurately and safely.
- Assemble, wire, and service control panels, motors, and low‑voltage systems as required by the job.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for tracking, reporting, and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to plan work, communicate issues, and meet schedules.
- 5 to 10+ years of experience working as an electrician with viable skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Preferred OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification (can be completed when hired).
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.
- Formal Electrical certifications and/or licenses (Journeyman and/or Master level proficiency).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability; consistently identified electrical faults and resolved problems efficiently in industrial environments.
- Commitment to safety and code compliance; proven adherence to OSHA standards, NEC requirements, and jobsite safety practices, often supported by formal safety certifications.
- Technical proficiency with industrial systems; hands‑on experience working with industrial electrical systems such as panels, motors, control equipment, power distribution, and low‑voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to plan and execute work accurately.
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
- Job Type: Full‑time.

- Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of the company); target annual bonus is $5,000.
