Farm Equipment Mechanic II

Overview

The Farm Equipment Mechanic II will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our equipment fleet, including tractors and other farming equipment. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with typical hours Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some opportunities for additional hours or weekends.

Location:

Cocoa Ranch Shop and field work as needed. This position requires own tool set and may require local travel.

• Repair and maintain farm equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, small engines, welding and fabrication as needed.
• Perform tasks similar to Mechanic I, plus more advanced tasks such as electrical repairs, diagnosing motor issues, and diagnosing wiring issues.
• Respond to field calls to diagnose equipment when necessary.
• Complete work orders daily and document maintenance activities.

• 2–3 years of farm equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, small engines, and welding/fabrication.
• Ability to work at the Cocoa Ranch Shop and in the field.
• Valid driver’s license; some local travel may be required.
• Must have your own tools.
