Role Description

This full-time, on-site Licensed Electrician role is based at Mack Technologies’ facility in Melbourne, FL. The Licensed Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems that support electronics manufacturing operations. Typical responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics, and ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.

The role involves collaborating with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to support equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new installations. The Licensed Electrician will also document work performed, maintain accurate maintenance records, and participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Valid journeyperson or master electrician license and strong knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes in the State of Florida.
  • Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, panels, wiring, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation for complex systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostic tools, and root‑cause analysis for electrical and control issues.
  • Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing environments, including power distribution and equipment controls.
  • Strong commitment to electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA‑compliant work habits.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work orders, and maintain accurate service records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, apprenticeship completion, or relevant vocational education preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights as needed to perform electrical work in a manufacturing facility.
  • US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees and those given asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty) since work includes ITAR controlled technical data
