Industrial Systems Technician – 1st Shift (Onsite)
Location: 307 ~ 1100 W Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL, USA
Position Type: Onsite – U.S. citizenship required. Shift work, weekends and on‑call as needed.
This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, HVAC systems, and fire protection equipment. The technician ensures all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, control panels, and motors.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
- Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other components to maintain optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
- Test, inspect, and maintain fire detection and suppression systems such as alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
- Respond to system failures and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain records of work performed, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.
- Stay updated on new technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial systems.
- AA/AS degree or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in industrial electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various industrial settings, including confined spaces and heights.
- Availability to work in shifts, weekends, or on‑call as needed.
- Certifications such as EPA
608 (HVAC), NICET (fire protection), or journeyman electrician license. - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Salary range: $53,100 – $100,900 per year.
