Avionics Technician

STS Aviation Services is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians in Melbourne, Florida. These positions focus on heavy modification work on commercial and large regional aircraft. Position Overview This role requires specialized experience performing aircraft modifications, including but not limited to:
WiFi modifications and installations Winglet modifications Aircraft interior modifications Avionics systems modifications and installations Work will be performed on A220, A320, 737, and ERJ-175 aircraft. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience on commercial or large regional aircraft FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license strongly preferred but not required Must possess a complete set of basic hand tools required to perform job duties Must successfully pass a written and hands-on assessment Must be authorized to work in the United States Valid and current driver’s license required Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge Ability to work any shift or schedule as required Compensation These positions offer highly competitive pay structured as a piece rate per aircraft.
