The Role
seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Mechanic to oversee and perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, inspections, and troubleshooting for specialized aviation programs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and lead aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems, structures, and powerplants.
- Assign and coordinate work for maintenance technicians.
- Review maintenance manuals, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, safety, and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Mentor junior mechanics and support Engineering/Quality teams.
- FAA A&P License - Required
- Strong turboprop aircraft experience.
- King Air 350 experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with aircraft structures, repairs, and modifications.
- Strong Powerplant and aircraft systems experience.
- Previous lead/supervisory maintenance experience.
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Strong safety, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred: FAA IA, turbine helicopter, military, or OEM experience.
