SUMMARY To perform semi-skilled electrical and electronics work in various installations, repair, maintenance, and service tasks for the District's communicaiton, video, vehicle telemetric system, fuel systems, and life saving safety devices.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum five (5) years' progressively knowledgeable and skilled experience in installation and service of electronic communication video surveillance and/or vehicle telemetric devices, preferably in the field of pupil transportation; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with lifesaving devices (AED's, Fire Extinguishers, etc).

PREFERRED/DESIRED:
Related technical or vocational training preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING:

REQUIRED:

Valid Florida Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B or higher with air brakes, passenger endorsement (P), and School Bus (S) (must obtain within three (6) months of employment) to be maintained at all times.

CPR-Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certified (must be obatined within three (3) months of employment to be maintained at all times).
