Facilities Operations is responsible for construction, operations and maintenance of all facilities on main campus and off campus satellite facilities. This position maintains and develops the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is being serviced on scheduled intervals to ensure normal lift cycle of equipment in the most efficient way. Project tracking and reconciling for renovation and new construction projects.

Maintains organized online filing for all projects.

Working hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime as needed.

* Processes, tracking and reconciling of all project costs associated with renovations/new buildings. Works with Sponsored Programs on grant related projects to ensure proper documentation required is being provided in a timely manner to meet associated deadlines.

* Create, modify and schedule preventative maintenance for all existing and new equipment with our IDN CMMS software to include roofing systems to ensure that they remain safe, reliable and well maintenance to ensure life cycle is maximized.

* Oversees the proper process and procedures for modifying existing, adding or removing equipment systems, completing and closing of projects/service requests. Includes training of internal staff as needed to ensure timeliness of ensuring assets are removed/added.

* Oversees bi-weekly projects meeting as well as monthly safety committee meeting and provides updates accordingly.

* Emergency preparedness and follow-up as needed.

* Other duties as assigned.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.

Florida Tech's 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.

The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.

The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
