Engineer Software - Data Architecture to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Software organization. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL
.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels
• Participate in the full software development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and delivery of software products to our customers
• Manage cloud infrastructure tools and data
• Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies
• Develop tools to manage continuous integration, software stack support, code quality and coverage
• Ensure and develop tools for monitoring security, privacy, and integrity of data and other resources
• Set up an overall Cloud-native Software Factory

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 8 years of related experience; OR Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of related experience; OR PhD with 4 years of related experience
• Ability to implement software and scripts in one or more programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, Power Shell, VBScript, Bash, AND/OR Korn Shell
• Experience with at least one of the following databases:
  Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis, Elastic Search
• Experience with at least one of the following cloud technologies/service providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• Active in-scope DoD Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special program access (PAR)

• Experience AND/OR Certification with cloud and container management & security technologies such as: VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Redhat Open Shift, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Nomad
• Experience using COTS data visualization tools
• Experience working in an Agile Framework

Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
