Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Simulation Software Engineer / Simulation Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Software organization in Melbourne, FL or Oklahoma City, OK.Accomplish This position offers the opportunity to directly design, develop and test cloud based solutions for enabling a software development environment and hosting simulation software and infrastructure.

This includes installing, configuring, and testing software utilizing pipeline automation.

Essential Functions
* Help design, build, and maintain automated cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
* Develop, modify and maintain pipelines to deploy cloud infrastructure and related services using engineering best practices and standards, and participate in the full life-cycle of the pipelines.
* Additional work to include integration testing, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
* Be a part of Agile Scrum teams to develop software products for multiple software baselines
* Interface on occasion with the customer and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Basic Qualifications for an Associate Simulation Software Engineer (level
1):
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience
* Experience with at least one of the following programming or scripting languages: C, C++, and Python
* Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance.
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
