Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for independently developing build and release procedures for a particular release of a product, innovating, developing, and maintaining build and configuration management. The candidate will contribute to the team and work independently.
Roles and Responsibilities- Break down problems and estimate time for quality-related tasks.
- Take on multiple projects at one time and increase task level.
- Become skilled with various configuration management, build management and continuous integration tools and methodologies.
- Become skilled with SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
- Collaborate with product teams to implement end‑to‑end build and release process for a specific release.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated experience in software implementation or development.
Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:- Break problems into smaller segments, document and explain the process.
- Apply decomposition (work‑breakdown structure) to highly exact specifications and estimate time for development tasks.
- Write automation scripts for build and release processes.
- Understand data structures and algorithms.
- Understand the project's value proposition for the customer and commit to deliver the best value proposition.
- Understand how the business solves the problem in specific domain areas using technology (e.g., Healthcare domain - EMR Applications).
- Recognize collaborative behavior, participate in collaboration, and respect opinions, acknowledging that group results can exceed individual results.
- Empathize with differences, including language, culture, and key performance indicators.
- Present clear rationale with data or factual evidence to influence.
- React open‑mindedly to new ideas or software practices.
- Consider different and novel solutions when faced with challenges.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and offer new ideas; take initiative to experiment with new software frameworks.
- Demonstrate the ability to creatively find solutions.
- Implement clean, concise solutions that address the requirements at hand.
