$18.88 to $20.77 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.

One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment including ten-wheel dump trucks and tractor mowers, which are used for maintaining transportation infrastructure, including roads, drainage systems, and sidewalks. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience using a work management system that includes tasks such as opening and closing work orders and uploading photo documentation is preferred.

Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This job involves heavy physical work and requires exposure to construction debris, moving machinery, traffic, extreme weather conditions, noise, dirt, and dust. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, or any natural or man-made disaster threatening the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
