Job Overview
Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring CDL drivers for immediate openings. The role requires loading, transporting, and unloading household goods while leading a moving crew and interacting with customers daily.
Compensation$17 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Transport goods using company truck.
- Lead the crew in loading or unloading shipments onto and off of the truck.
- Inspect shipments before loading for proper packing or wrapping.
- Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
- Assist in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections of the truck, moving equipment, interior and exterior, straps, tensioners, walk boards, etc.
- Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
- Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Willing to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate.
- Ability to operate a box truck or truck/tractor trailer as applicable to your CDL qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Required:
High school diploma or GED. Preferred:
Real , complaint driver’s license.
- 40 hours of vacation pay after 1 year of employment.
