Pay$18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Major Responsibilities- Deliver materials from the warehouse to job sites safely, timely, and courteously
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Maintain truck equipment and inventory, and keep the vehicle serviceable and presentable
- Follow delivery/pick‑up instructions from dispatcher and counter personnel
- Inspect unloaded equipment for damage
- Refuel gasoline or diesel and check oil and water levels for equipment and forklifts
- Clean and service small air tools, small electric tools, and bulk rental items
- Test equipment to ensure proper operation
- Assist in cleaning and maintenance of rental discharge, suction, and other hoses
- Operate walk‑behind and ride‑on shop forklifts for moving stationary and tow‑behind equipment
- Sweep shop floors and clean the yard, rearranging equipment as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team orientation and ability to work well with others
- Effective communication with customers, team members, and all levels of management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Multitasking and prioritization skills
- Passion for providing excellent service and quality
- Class B driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Forklift certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated initiative and follow‑through
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities
- Organizational skills
