Route Driver - Smartservice

We are hiring immediately for full‑time Route Driver – Smart Service positions at Canteen.

Location:

6934 Vickie Circle, Melbourne, FL 32904.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Drives company vehicle over established route to deliver products and maintain inventory. Responsible for the delivery of top‑notch service to clients and customers at all times.

• Prior to each day’s route, ensure truck is properly loaded with all required product to service scheduled machines following outlined operational procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with totes of product, walk to the machines, and load them. Return to truck with hand truck of empty totes.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines. When necessary, report defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all client and/or customer complaints to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays, or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with established procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Preferred 1–2 years’ experience in a customer‑service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
