Position
Driver/Operator for the university transportation system. The role includes maintenance, fueling, daily cleaning of vehicles, ensuring adherence to route schedules, and occasional driving during other hours as requested.
Responsibilities- Maintain, fuel, and clean vehicles daily.
- Ensure adherence to route schedules.
- Occasionally drive during requested hours outside those hours.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs and perform routine inspections.
The position is full time, 12 month, working 40 hours a week of varying shifts. Shifts include 5:00 AM-12:30 AM Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM-8:30 PM Saturday/Sunday, with occasional use outside those hours.
Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of driving experience on passenger buses with a capacity of 30 or more.
- Valid driver’s license suitable for bus operation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
