Forklift Operator, Distribution/ General Warehouse, Stocking, Material Handler
Position Purpose
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
- Pull and prepare customer orders for pick‑up or delivery.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
Physical Requirements
Minimal to none; primarily based in the branch/warehouse. Must be able to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75pounds continuously. Ability to use forklifts or pallet jacks is required.
Working ConditionsWork performed in a warehouse environment with noise, temperature extremes, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum age 18 years.
- Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds.
- Basic reading, writing, and spoken English (bilingual Spanish may be required for some locations).
- Comfortable with basic math in daily tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification available through company training if not already held.
