Position: Hydrovac Equipment Operator at Forbes Bros.

This role involves operating Hydrovac and various heavy equipment under the direction of a Foreman or Lead Hand. You will focus on field safety, ensuring equipment is operated according to all safety regulations while completing pre-use and post-use checks. Fine-tune your skills in a dynamic work environment committed to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Hydrovac and other heavy equipment safely

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment

• Ensure equipment is securely stored after operation

• Follow site plans in coordination with construction teams

• Provide feedback regarding maintenance or repairs needed

Requirements:

• Certified equipment operator with 3–5 years of experience

• Experience with excavators, loaders, and utility equipment

• Class 5A driver’s license required; higher class preferred

• Proven safety focus and ability to work in construction environments

• Strong understanding of equipment manuals and maintenance procedures
