Dynamic Manufacturing is hiring a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team! The Health & Safety Coordinator works to ensure day-to-day Associate health & safety. The Health & Safety Coordinator works to identify hazards that could lead to near-misses, injuries, property damage, & unsafe behavior. The Health & Safety Coordinator will work in cross functional teams to mitigate and/or eliminate identified hazards.

The Health & Safety Coordinator also handles all injury cases involving Associates and necessary treatment.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $86,181.00/yr

Essential Functions
  • Serve as a first responder for all injuries and necessary injury care.
  • Report incidents in a timely manner and work with cross functional teams to investigate and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Conduct Associate health & safety trainings as necessary.
  • Oversight of health & safety inspections including but not limited to eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, fall protection, & other topic focused inspections.
  • Playing a key role in the Behavioral Based Safety Observation Program.
  • Participate in facility Health & Safety Committees.
  • Being present on the production & warehouse floor at least 50% of the day.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with associates and facilities regarding health and safety concerns and issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Additional tasks assigned in order to support the EHS&S team.
  • Aid in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Human Resources & the operations team to ensure associates on modified work are working within their work status.
  • Lead a cross functional team to create & review risk assessments.
  • Audit work areas to ensure Health & Safety policies are being followed throughout the facilities.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in health & safety OR bachelor’s degree in health & safety or other related discipline.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must be able to be present on the production floor and warehouses & be a part of the operations.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to independently handle a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and bend; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently.
  • Visual and Hearing Requirements:
    Normal requirements for reading and understanding verbal instructions.
  • Working Conditions:

    Exposure to high noise levels and physical hazards in the manufacturing environment. Must be able to wear PPE for extended periods of time.
  • Being bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus but not required.
