Position Overview:

As a Radiology Technician, you’ll be at the heart of patient care, performing high-quality diagnostic imaging with precision and expertise. Your technical skill combined with a compassionate approach will help ensure accurate diagnoses and improve patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll not only support our commitment to excellence in healthcare but also make a meaningful impact on every patient you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Radiology Technician travel to and from locations requesting radiography.
  • Transport required equipment for mobile radiography.
  • Operate advanced radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of the patient's internal organs, bones, and tissues.
  • Welcome and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable by clearly explaining the process and addressing any questions.
  • Provide compassionate care by maintaining a professional, reassuring demeanor, helping to ease patient anxiety, and offering emotional support throughout the procedure.
  • Review and assess imaging results to identify potential abnormalities, ensuring accuracy in diagnostic findings.
  • Collaborate with radiologists by providing clear, detailed reports and ensuring timely delivery to referring physicians to support effective treatment planning.
  • Ensure top-tier image quality by actively participating in quality control and assurance initiatives.
  • Work alongside the radiology team to drive process improvements and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive work environment by fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  • Optimize workflow and scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency, factoring in travel time, weather conditions, and traffic considerations.
  • Maintain a travel-ready vehicle by ensuring it is properly fueled, well-maintained, and equipped for seamless operations.
Qualifications:
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Expertise in radiographic procedures, imaging equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately interpret imaging results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and strict adherence to patient confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with the ability to navigate traffic and adjust to changing travel conditions.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent physical activity including standing, walking, grasping, carrying, reaching, bending, stooping, and speaking.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with assistance as needed.
  • Assist with lifting or turning patients who are disabled, when necessary, with support.
