Travel: Approximately 25%
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety operations across multiple locations. This individual will serve as the company’s primary safety authority, providing leadership, guidance, and hands-on support to on-site safety personnel while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
The ideal candidate is a proactive safety professional who is comfortable traveling to job sites, conducting audits, partnering with field leadership, and driving a strong safety culture company-wide.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support on-site safety personnel across multiple locations
Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters within the organization
Travel approximately 25% of the time to various job sites to:
Conduct job site walks and safety observations
Perform safety audits and inspections
Partner with site leadership to identify and mitigate risk
Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies, programs, and procedures
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
Track safety metrics, trends, and KPIs; provide reporting and recommendations to leadership
Assist with training programs for field staff and safety personnel
Promote a proactive, accountability-driven safety culture throughout the organization
5+ years of progressive experience in safety management, preferably in a multi-site environment
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance
Experience leading or mentoring safety professionals in the field
Proven ability to conduct audits, inspections, and job site walks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with field and corporate teams
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to various company locations across the western United States
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent safety certifications
OSHA 30 or OSHA 500/510
