Seeking a compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized, one-on-one care in patients' homes. This role involves building meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct, individualized patient care following established care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Perform skilled procedures such as wound care, catheter management, and IV therapy
- Educate patients and families on care techniques, medications, and health management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Active RN or LPN license in Illinois
- Previous experience in private duty, home health, or in-home care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the area
