Forklift Driver WDB

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Driver to join our client in Melrose Park, IL! This role is ideal for experienced forklift operators who can safely and efficiently operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts while performing general warehouse duties.

• $17-$20/hour, paid weekly
• 1st and 2nd shift available
• Located in Melrose Park, IL

• Safely operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other shipments efficiently
• Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper handling and organization
• Conduct daily safety inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance on forklifts
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Assist with order preparation, picking, staging, and other general warehouse duties
• Maintain inventory accuracy by locating, relocating, and counting merchandise as needed

• Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Physical stamina to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy when handling merchandise
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all facility safety protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Familiarity with forklift equipment, basic maintenance, and warehouse technology such as RF scanners or handheld devices
