Auditing​/Inventory Control Clerk

Kelly Services is seeking Auditing/Inventory Clerks for a location in Melrose Park, Illinois. The position is contract‑to‑hire, with a pay rate of $20/hr.

• 2nd shift hours, including Saturday or Sunday and four weekdays.

Warehouse temperatures range from
-5 to 70°. Work involves typical warehouse hazards (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and noise.

• Verify total case count and specific items, assembled by warehouse assemblers to store invoice.
• Reconcile physical and financial inventories.
• Report discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Recap audit results for weekly reporting.
• Compare and reconcile physical inventory cycle counts to those maintained in the inventory system.
• Conduct research to determine causes of pallet slotting issues.
• Perform system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountability.
• Maintain warehouse case dimensions, verify slot heights, and enter data.
• Make entries for store returns and print various warehouse‑related reports.

• Work independently with minimal supervision; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good math skills, figure aptitude, and 10‑key calculator proficiency.
• Effective oral and written communication with coworkers and external personnel.
