Companion – Melrose area

I’m a friendly independent 20-year-old lad with a learning disability and ADHD living in the Melrose Area with my family, I’m looking for an energetic, active, bubbly, proactive companion to join me in activities that I enjoy, every alternate Saturday or Sunday like swimming, going to the gym, walking, music concert/festivals, take me to my horse riding lessons (no need to horse ride, just watch).

The hours are totally to suit and flexible and can be a full day of activities or a block of hours for the right person, no personal care required just a friendly individual to take me out and about and keep me safe.

• Take me to horse-riding lessons (Saturday afternoon)
• Come along with me to other agreed social activities
• Be proactive in finding fun things to do together

• Caring and sensitive to the problems disability can bring
• Friendly and fun loving, open to new adventures
• Honest, reliable and confidential
• Ideally a driver with Business Insurance, but not a deal breaker as I have a plus one on my bus pass

• Hours are flexible to be arranged/wage to be discussed with employer
• Any agreed mileage and expenses
• 5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement pro rata
• PVG/References required
