Position: High School Science Teacher
Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026
Salary: $58,956.22 to $ per CBA
Melrose High School seeks a full-time science teacher. The ideal candidate will be certified in at least two of the following three areas:
Biology, Chemistry and Physics (grades 9‑12). We are looking for an experienced, energetic, organized and collaborative teacher who has expertise in science and familiarity with the Massachusetts State Frameworks in Science. Familiarity with instructional technology, student‑centered learning, and differentiated instruction are also sought. Appropriate Massachusetts licensure is required.
- Certification in at least two of:
Biology, Chemistry, Physics (9‑12) - Familiarity with Massachusetts State Frameworks in Science
- Experience with instructional technology, student‑centered learning, and differentiated instruction
- Appropriate Massachusetts licensure
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
