Must-Have:
- Must be independent and competent in general ultrasound exams.
- Familiarity with DVT studies, abdomen, small parts, OB, GYN, and some pediatrics.

Description:

The position requires weekend shifts with potential to fill in during the week if necessary.
Candidates will be responsible for conducting various ultrasound examinations.
They must be skilled in performing upper and lower extremity DVT studies, abdominal exams, pelvic/GYN assessments, and first and third trimester OB evaluations.

Experience with pediatric ultrasound, including appendicitis and abdominal assessments, is preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable assisting in the OR as needed for emergency situations only during evening shifts.
The department has five rooms, and technologists will primarily work out of one.
No floating or covering of additional areas is required.
There is a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Technologist available on each shift.
No starting of IVs is required for this position.
Scheduling is templated and handled by central scheduling; no self-scheduling is permitted.
Scrubs are required but not provided.
The dress code specifies any solid color of scrubs.
There is a one to two-week training/orientation period for this role.
The average number of scans/studies performed daily is between eight to ten.
The facility uses EPIC for patient charting and Centricity UV PACS for imaging studies.
Radiologists are available on-site during regular business hours.
No call or standby requirements are associated with this position.
