Key
Qualifications:
- Active COTA licensure and certification required
- Previous experience working in a pediatric or school environment preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiastic, positive, and adaptive approach to working with children of varied abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions as directed by an Occupational Therapist to help students develop or improve functional skills
- Support student participation in classroom and school activities
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and other multidisciplinary staff to implement IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to classroom adaptations or modifications as needed
- Offer resources and guidance to students and staff to optimize learning outcomes
