Melrose Built is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our New Build team, delivering a multi-residential project on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a senior commercial role suited to someone who can confidently run the full financials of a project from procurement through to final account, while supporting the Project Manager and site team to deliver safely on time and within budget.

About the Role

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will take ownership of the commercial administration of the project. You will lead procurement, manage head and subcontract contracts, control budgets and forecasting, and ensure strong financial governance across the lifecycle of the build.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full procurement process including tendering, evaluation and subcontract drafting
  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost reports and cashflow forecasting
  • Administer head contract and subcontract variations, claims, EOTs and NODs
  • Oversee subcontractor payment claims in accordance with legislation
  • Maintain commercial registers including variations, RFIs and correspondence
  • Support the Project Manager in financial transparency and risk mitigation
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience delivering residential projects up to $25M
  • Demonstrated ability to run full project financials end to end
  • Strong understanding of head contract obligations and risk management
  • High attention to detail and structured approach to commercial systems
  • Experience with Procore, Jobpac, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
  • Construction White Card, Driver Licence and relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering
