March through the end of the 2025/2026 School Year. Salary: $58,956.22 to $ per CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of
Essential Duties and Responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
* Counsel students and/or families individually, or in groups.
* Provide support services for students, staff, and parents.
* Consult with other professional staff and outside agencies and other organizations.
* Make referrals to appropriate staff and consultants, and outside agencies as needed.
* Serve as a member of the Instructional Support Team and other school based teams.
* Counsel students and/or families individually, or in groups
* Attend relevant IEP/504 meetings in school buildings
* Ensure the security and maintenance of clinical confidentiality at all times.

* Assist all students including culturally diverse and special populations in meeting individual needs to support academic achievement and student development
* Assist students with acquiring skills that maximizes their personal and social development.
* Attend required job-related meetings, activities, and on-going professional development.
* Maintain professional competence.
* Use effective oral and written communication skills.
Position Requirements Education and Training
* Masters degree in a field of social services preferred
* Experience providing the service required by this position
* Knowledge of appropriate counseling procedures
* Knowledge of applicable federal and state statutes dealing with privacy, care and protection abuse.
* Ability to diagnose emotional, personal and social issues
* Ability to make referrals to appropriate staff members and other agencies and organizations.
* Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check.
