We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-franchise dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. This Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians to advance their careers within a modern, manufacturer-backed workshop.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and advanced repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate workshop documentation
  • Support colleagues with technical guidance where required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Keep technical skills current through ongoing manufacturer training
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training available)
  • Minimum two years' workshop experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work
