PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare month-end closing process. Prepare journal entries, generate financial statements, analyze, and summarize balance sheet and income statement accounts with supporting documentation.
- Review of financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies and procedures.
- Prepare any Ad-Hoc reports as needed. Work with outside auditors.
- Assist with projects that require creativity, strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and apply technological tools.
Education, Certifications and Licenses:
- CPA preferred.
Required:
- 4+ years related work experience.
- Excellent communication skills able to deal with Management and Ownership.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of G/L account, solid analytical skills and knowledge of GAAP are required. Must be self-directed.
- Must have advanced Excel and Access (Macros, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.).
- Must have self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills. Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to analyze current procedures and recommend improvements.
