Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a sharp, detail oriented, analytical Staff Accountant with a strong Accounting foundation and Excellent Excel skills to join a fast-paced accounting team with a rapidly growing Services client!

As the Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the Controller to:

+ Analyze and categorize financial transactions, including banking activities and expenditures, ensuring accurate books and records.

+ Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles while producing management reports that highlight financial trends.

+ Prepare journal entries and accounting work papers to support the close.

+ Oversee key accounts payable functions and contribute to process improvements and special initiatives alongside the Controller.

+ Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and assist in the development of automated financial reporting tools.

+ Prepare management reports and variance analyses to support business strategy and potential investment activity.

Requirements

+ Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Advanced Excel skills including pivots and lookups

+ Strong accounting foundation including journal entries and month end close experience

+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
