Senior Accountant Hyperion Financial Management & Oracle E-Business Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in the preparation, review, and financial reporting of monthly, quarterly, and supplementary information issued to the corporate office and Senior Management.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals during the month‑end close process, including reconciliation of inter‑company activity.
• Analyze G/L transactions for accuracy to ensure the general ledger and financial statements are presented correctly.
• Assist with the detailed monthly variance analysis compared to actuals.
• Assist with the preparation of the inventory reserve calculation and inventory management reporting.
• Assist and prepare schedules on request for periodic internal audits.
• Assist with other ad hoc reporting as required.

• A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting.
• At least 5 years of related accounting work experience, including prior analytical work in an accounting environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is a strong plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle E‑Business is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
