A dynamic boutique public accounting firm based on Long Island in Melville, NY is seeking a Staff Bookkeeper to join their growing team.
EB Group CPAs LLP (the “Firm”) is a rapidly expanding boutique public accounting firm headquartered in Melville, NY. The Firm provides accounting, tax, and strategic advisory and consulting services to businesses spanning various industries, high net worth individuals, trusts, estates and other fiduciaries.
The Firm is seeking a Staff Bookkeeper to support the accounting and tax service practice areas. The Staff Bookkeeper will report to Managers of the Firm.
Required Experience &Qualifications:
- 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage projects utilizing accounting best practices to efficiently prioritize tasks
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
- Tax Software experience?
- Prepare accounting write-ups and analyze/communicate results to Management
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations
- Various special projects for Management
