Tax Accountant

Whitecap Search, a fast‑growing Business Advisory firm, is seeking talented individuals to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with clients to enhance their financial performance through comprehensive tax and financial analysis. Located on Long Island with an additional office in the Penn Station area of NYC, this position provides flexibility in work location and the potential for career growth into leadership or partnership roles.

• Act as a business advisor for clients in all facets of accounting and finance.
• Prepare financial statements and make business recommendations based on financial statement analysis.
• Advise clients on best practices to reduce their effective tax rate.
• Execute tax compliance and assist with tax planning to identify areas for write‑offs and savings.

• CPA is a plus, but not required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience;
  Big 4 experience may not be the right fit.
• Experience with individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns across various industries.
• Audit experience is also required.
