Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage key financial processes and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate tax, sales tax, and general accounting principles.

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle corporate tax returns and ensure timely submission in accordance with regulations.
• Assess and calculate sales tax obligations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting practices and financial reporting.
