We partner with a broad network of lenders to deliver working capital, term loans, equipment financing, lines of credit, and other funding solutions tailored to business owners’ needs.

We are expanding our Affiliate Partner Program and are seeking a motivated, high-performing Business Development & Relationship Manager to grow our referral partner network.

Position Overview

The Business Development & Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

1. Prospecting and onboarding new affiliate partners who can refer business owners seeking financing.

2. Managing and growing partner relationships to increase referral volume and funded deals.

3. Driving measurable growth through the Big Think Capital affiliate platform.

This is a high-activity role focused on outreach, relationship management, onboarding, and partner performance.

Our affiliates can be anyone who has access to business owners who may need financing — including (but not limited to) consultants, CPAs, insurance agents, real estate professionals, business brokers, payroll providers, marketing agencies, equipment vendors, and more.

Key Responsibilities Affiliate Partner Development
  • Identify and recruit new affiliate partners through outbound prospecting.
  • Make daily outreach via phone, email, Linked In, networking, and other channels.
  • Educate prospective partners on Big Think Capital’s financing solutions and referral program.
  • Communicate the value of partnering with Big Think Capital.
  • Close new affiliate partnerships and bring them onto the platform.
Affiliate Onboarding & Activation
  • Walk new partners through the onboarding process and referral workflow.
  • Train partners on how to submit referrals and what makes a strong funding file.
  • Provide marketing resources and tools to help partners start referring quickly.
  • Establish performance goals and create a plan to generate consistent referrals.
Relationship Management & Growth
  • Maintain regular contact with active affiliate partners.
  • Develop strategies to increase referral volume and partner engagement.
  • Track performance and help partners improve conversion and submission quality.
  • Solve issues quickly and ensure a strong partner experience.
  • Build long-term relationships that generate ongoing funded deals.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or partnerships.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and closing ability.
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage pipeline and follow-up consistently.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Experience in lending, finance, merchant cash advance, fintech, insurance, real estate, or related industries is a plus.
