General Summary/Objective

In addition to supporting the general functions of the Finance Department, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overall management of finances for a variety of interesting clinical trials, while acting as liaison between clinical trial sponsors and research sites.

Duties
  • Review and approve sponsor research budget using critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy and consistency with budget details in BRANY’s proprietary software application
  • Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based upon research activity entered by external research sites
  • Manage high-volume collections by conducting consistent follow-up on past due invoices through email, phone, and other communication methods
  • Compare payments received from study sponsors for clinical activities with internal records, and process payments to external research sites on a timely basis
  • Utilize strong analytical and investigative skills to reconcile study data and maintain accurate financial records
  • Upon completion of a clinical trial, perform a final financial reconciliation of research activities and payments received
  • Participate in other departmental projects as necessary

Qualifications

Education required:

Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance or Accounting preferred) from an accredited university.

Experience

Required:

Minimum three years of experience working in a Finance, Accounting, or Clinical Research Financial Management Role.

Applicant should be a detail-oriented and capable problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical skills to identify errors and inconsistencies.
