Key Functions- Communicatewithownerinallareasthatrelatetocontractdocumentation
- Coordinatewithfieldtoprepare,reviewandevaluatemonthlycostwithfinancedepartment
- Develop,edit,review,andmaintainallcontractualdocumentationandfilesinaccordancewithallrequiredregulations
- Assistinpreparingandnegotiatingofalltheelementsofapotentialcontractorsolicitationincludingschedule,performance,andprice;andpreparerelateddocuments
- Supportanddocumentcontractclosingsincludingprojectingfinalcontractprice
- Analyze,compute,andtrackcontractpaymentsandsupporttheresolutionofpayment-related problems
- Assistandworkwith Project Managertohelpresolvecontractissues
- Review,evaluate,executeanddocumentcontractsforsubcontractors
- Create,documentandmaintainpurchaseordersofgoodsand/orservicesinaccordancewiththecontract
- Update&maintaincompany/agency
ERPsystemwithallcurrentprojectinformationintheappropriateprograms.
Change Orders,Purchase Orders,Subcontract Ledger,Progress Entry,Project Submittals,Job Cost. - Thispositioniscriticallydependentoncomputersysteminteraction.
Extensivecomputerexperienceisnecessary - Assistwithmonitoringcontractualcompliancerequirements
- 4(4) ormoreyearsinbusinessmanagementand/orconstructionexperience(i.e.project manager) inasimilarfieldofconstructionwithspecificemphasisoncontractadministration.
- A4-yearcourseofstudyleadingtoa
Bachelor’sDegreewithamajorinanyfield - Workingcomprehensionofcontractsandspecificationsincludingbutnotlimitedto
NYSDOT,Port Authorityandlocalmunicipalities - Abilitytoparticipateproductivelyasacontributingmemberinateamenvironment
- Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelyandconciselyusingavarietyofstylesandtechniquesappropriatetotheaudience
- Proficientintheuseof Microsoft Officeandstandardcomputerapplications
- Displayahighlevelofinitiative,effort,andcommitmenttowardscompletingassignmentsinatimelymanner
- Abilitytoidentifyproblems;determinesaccuracyandrelevanceofinformation;usessoundjudgmenttogenerateandevaluatealternatives,andmakesrecommendations
- Knowledge and/orexperiencewithworkinginProcoreispreferred
